The fact that you can still see Jesus' love as He walks through all these difficulties is truly a work of faith. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. That's a lot of stress. That's a lot of grace.Conductorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02886019962062444349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2616407927041988076.post-54204912973649418532015-01-05T16:38:40.372-08:002015-01-05T16:38:40.372-08:00Thanks for the reminder about dog tags. Being preo...Thanks for the reminder about dog tags. Being preoccupied it is easy to forget these things. I have been staying with my mom, she is literally dying from gioblastoma (terminal brain cancer), while my dad had open heart surgery last Monday. His heart attack on Christmas Day was just one more reason I need to continue to keep Jesus on my side. From the house fire in July (which we are still working on) and one of my rescue cats death (freak accident), to my son's almost fatal car accident in Sept. (he is finally walking again and still has more surgeries to come)., to mom's MRI in Sept. (showing her cancer came back) now dad's heart attack (the reason for open heart surgery) this year has been BRUTAL. Takes 2 people with mom 24/7 and now that dad is back home, with all the side effects of all the meds and trauma surgery, we are trying to had 3 people in the home until today. Went back down to 2 for mom. Us 3 siblings and my daughter are primary caregivers. 1 hired in for extra help. Jesus is getting us through these sleepless nights, bitter/sweet roller coaster emotions. I read to mom everyday, today's message was to have complete trust in Our Lord and Savior. His timing is different than ours and He will give us what we need for today. I CAN NOT disagree with this message. I have no idea how we are doing this. But I know mom only wants to be with family. And she deserves this. Her life has been all about Jesus and wanting others to accept Him. She is still our encouragement and we are so very fortunate and blessed to be able to spend these months with her. So, Lynn, I have to say thanks for the dog tag reminder and the message you have given. He picked mom to show her children what an awesome God we have. Her life isn't simple, but through her smile and eyes we are still able to see how Jesus is comforting her. Thanking God everyday for my family. No matter the brutality of last year and the beginning of this year, the months to come, I thank God for my blessings, all of them, the good and the bad.
